In the United States, the coldest winter weather for the past two decades was February 2015, the first month of the year, when temperatures in the Midwest hit record lows.
At the time, the record low temperatures were set at 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit below normal, and many saw the event as a harbinger of the future.
Since then, the National Weather Service in Chicago has recorded 6,000 days with below-zero temperatures.
Weather forecasts are notoriously unreliable and often misspeak and contradict each other, making it hard to be certain what’s going to happen.
That said, the weather in Mexico is typically quite cold.
As such, the average temperature is typically closer to the lower 30s in the city.
The country’s capital, Mexico City, is actually colder than most places in the United Kingdom and Germany.
That doesn’t mean the temperature there isn’t cool, however.
The capital of Mexico City is about the same temperature as Chicago, which is a record low.
But Mexico City also boasts one of the world’s largest ice caps.
The cap, which stands at nearly 3 feet (1.5 meters) thick and covers a vast swath of land, is the result of an ice-sheet collision in 2013.
That collision created a massive, unstable layer of ice that covers an area of about 3,400 square miles (10,000 square kilometers).
Since then it has been a problem for Mexico, where ice conditions have been particularly bad.
Ice caps, in particular, have caused severe damage to buildings and roads.
Mexico City has also experienced frequent floods and other damage to infrastructure.
At least three times since 2010, the capital has been hit by a tornado, with two of those tornadoes reaching a height of more than 500 feet (150 meters).
In addition to the cold, Mexico’s winters can be very snowy.
There are snowstorms that last longer than average, sometimes lasting longer than two weeks, and winters can also feature exceptionally heavy snowfall, which can last for several days.
The United States is the cold nation, and Mexico is the warm nation.
Mexico is known for its mild winters, but even its mildest winters can still be quite harsh.
