Ottawa Senators General Manager Pierre Dorion announced on Friday that the club has acquired goaltender Justin Peters.
The 29-year-old is an unrestricted free agent and has been in the organization since the 2017-18 season.
Peters, who was acquired from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a conditional 2018 second-round pick, will become an unrestricted Free Agent upon his next appearance.
Prior to his first NHL start on November 8, 2017, Peters played in six games with the Boston Bruins, recording two saves in that span.
Peters was a second-team All-Star with the Bruins in 2016-17.
He has also played in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose and the Portland Pirates.
