After the season 2 finale of ‘The Bachelor,’ it’s time for ‘The X Factor,’ and not just because there’s a new host.
‘The Biggest Loser’ is returning for a season 2.
‘Downton’ has also been renewed.
ABC announced Thursday (July 6) that it will air a special episode of the new series on June 21, 2018, following the conclusion of the series.
The series, which is being developed by ABC Studios, will be based on the ABC series of the same name, which starred Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet.
The show will be produced by the same company that created ‘The Bachelorette,’ ‘The Mentalist,’ ‘Modern Family,’ and ‘Modern Romance.’
‘The Golden Girls,’ ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ ‘Glee,’ ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Orange is the New Black,’ and others are also in the running for the Emmy.
‘Falling Skies’ has been renewed for a second season, and will follow the story of an Air Force pilot who takes a helicopter to a remote mountain base where he’s tasked with saving his estranged wife.
ABC and the producers of ‘Dying Hard’ are also working on a third season.
‘Big Brother’ will return with its fifth season in 2021.
It will feature a reunion of the cast of the show, which aired in 2016.
ABC Studios is also developing a new show, ‘Dance Moms,’ based on a new novel by Lauren B. Johnson, which will air on ABC Family.
‘Girlfriends’ will air in the fall, and is a spinoff of ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ which will follow a group of girls in high school who live in the fictional New York City, which features a police force that is based on New York.
‘Modern’ is also returning for its seventh season, with ‘Bacheloretts’ star Rob Corddry joining the cast.
The second season of ‘Modern Masters’ will feature some of the most high-profile names in the entertainment industry in a cast of some of TV’s biggest stars, including ‘House of Cards’ star Kevin Spacey, ‘Orange Is the New Bigot’ star Alyssa Milano, ‘The Good Wife’ star Julianna Margulies, ‘Modern Life’ star Michelle Dockery, ‘Parks and Recreation’ star Anna Gunn, and ‘Discovery’ star Jussie Smollett.
