ESPN staff writer Mark Maske reports that Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love and Minnesota’s forward Kevin Towns are expected to play Sunday in an NBA game.
The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Love has not played since Feb. 11 because of a broken hand.
Towns played last season in the Western Conference semifinals and played in four of the NBA Finals.
ESPN.com has confirmed the news with a league source.
The Wolves, who have won three straight, play host to the Sacramento Kings in a first-round series.
NBA.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday that the Timberwolves and Kings are expected meet in the first round, which would be the first time both teams have met since the NBA-Cavaliers series.
